George Stephenson sentenced to 28 Years and 4 months imprisonment and Wendy Stephenson to 3 years 10 months

  Anne Richardson represented the Crown in the prosecution of a multiple rapist, George Stephenson who tried to evade justice by pretending to be wheelchair-bound and mentally impaired has been sentenced today, after being caught out by a police surveillance operation.  His wife, Wendy Stephenson was also convicted of offences against the same victim.  More […]

Congratulations to Karen Lennon and Michael Cahill on their appointment as Deputy District Judges

Dere Street are delighted to announce that Karen Lennon and Michael Cahill have been appointed as Deputy District Judges to sit on the North Eastern Circuit. The appointments are part-time and Karen and Michael will continue their busy practices in family, civil, criminal and regulatory law.
