Current and former members of Dere Street venture out to walk eight miles across the Durham countryside.

On Sunday the 13th October a hardy group of current and former members of Dere Street stepped out in the Autumn sunshine to embark on an eight mile walk. The walk covered parts of Roman Dere Street between Peircebridge and Bolam in County Durham and concluded with a well deserved rest and Sunday lunch.
