2026 Financial Remedies North Conference

Many thanks to all the attendees and speakers who joined us for The Financial Remedies North conference, which took place yesterday Wednesday 6^th May at The Merchant Taylors’ Hall, Aldwark, York.

Former Deputy High Court Judge, David Salter, took charge of the opening address and introduced a great line up of speakers throughout the day, starting with Former Supreme Court Judge and Life Peer in the House of Lords sitting as a Cross Bench Member, Baroness Hale of Richmond who then went on to complete a well-received book signing of her latest book “With The Law On Our Side” and her previous book “Spider Woman”.  Following the book signing and mid-morning refreshments, events continued with speakers Gemma Helliwell – Chartered Financial Planner and Paul Windle – Actuaries for Lawyers and, in the afternoon, Loretta Giaimo – Barrister, Eleanor Irons – Barrister and last but not least Zack Fixter – Barrister. The day then concluded with post event refreshments and time to reflect on all we had learned during the course of the day.

There will be a further Financial Remedies North Conference in Newcastle in October 2026 when we look forward to inviting attendees once more. Keep watching this space for more details!
