Hannah Scott

Hannah specialises in all areas of family law, with a particular emphasis on Private Children and Financial Remedies cases.

Hannah welcomes instructions to represent clients in all areas of private law matters ranging from urgent applications through to multi-day fact-finding hearings and final hearings.

Hannah’s practice currently encompasses modest value financial remedy matters. Hannah also has experience in applications for financial provision under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989.

Hannah also accepts instructions in relation to applications brought under the Family Law Act 1996.

Hannah studied Law at Newcastle University where she also spent a year studying abroad at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. Prior to commencing her career at the Bar, Hannah worked for Citizens Advice and volunteered for the National Centre for Domestic Violence.

Before joining chambers, Hannah practised family law in Essex.
