Dere Street’s Pupil Deck

We are looking forward to our 5 new pupils, Hawa Jogi, Jessica Noble, Zackeray Fixter, Laura Peto
and Jillian Newton commencing their pupillage on 30th of September 2024. Each week, leading up to their start, we shall be introducing each of them individually.

The limelight this week goes to Zackeray Fixter – General Common Law Pupil

Zack studied Law at Durham University and completed his BPTC in Leeds alongside his LLM. After completing his studies, Zack began working as a County Court Advocate, a position he held for two years. This position entailed representing clients in a variety of small claims matters throughout the North East. During this time, Zack secured two marshalling placements in Teesside and completed a mini-pupillage with Dere Street Barristers.

Zack’s pupillage will be under the supervision of Crispin Oliver.
