Thomas has rapidly expanded his practice to include all areas of employment, chancery, business and property, housing, and regulatory. His case load spans the full range of litigation, and he routinely appears in the County and Crown Courts, magistrates, and various tribunals, whilst also appearing in the Court of Appeal and appeal tribunals. In all the written and court work he has undertaken, Thomas’ ability to combine an appreciation for detail and complexity with clarity of thought and argument has often been noted favourably; particularly in his ability to ‘get to the point’ with judges and explain often complex legal issues in terms which lay clients can readily understand.
Having previously worked in a busy local litigation department before coming to the Bar, Thomas is fully aware of the pressures on solicitor’s time. As such, Thomas is fully aware of the need for counsel to adapt to the needs of solicitors and the advantages of being able to discuss a particular issue or case informally with counsel to achieve a practical and client focused outcome. To that end, Thomas always welcomes new enquiries, whatever their nature.
