Jessica Noble
Jessica secured tenancy in September 2025, following the successful completion of a common law pupillage under the supervision of Jennie Smith.
She accepts instructions in Family, Civil, and Criminal Law.
Jessica has gained experience across a broad range of cases, including final hearings, trials, appeals, and sentencing.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Jessica worked for North Yorkshire Police. She began as a Prosecution Team Officer, preparing files for court, before progressing to the role of Domestic Abuse and Court Presentation Officer. In this capacity, she applied for Domestic Violence Protection Orders on behalf of the police at York Magistrates’ Court, ensuring that the statutory two-part test for such applications was met. She also provided advice to individuals on further protective measures, such as non-molestation orders.
In addition, Jessica’s varied employment history—from retail to working in a medical practice—has equipped her with a wide range of transferable skills that she now brings to her practice at the Bar.
