Pupil Deck

As we conclude our introduction of this year’s pupils, we are delighted to introduce Jennifer Crawford, our family law pupil. Jennifer joins chambers with valuable experience from the Family Court system and private practice, alongside an excellent academic record and a strong commitment to advocacy. We look forward to supporting Jennifer throughout her pupillage and wish her every success.

Jennifer studied Law at Newcastle University. Then went on to complete the Bar Course at Northumbria University, with the help of a scholarship awarded by Northumbria Law School. She graduated with a Faculty Pro-Vice Chancellor Award for achieving exceptional results across the academic years.

During the Bar Course she worked at Newcastle Civil and Family Courts as a court clerk to three Designated Family Judges. Jennifer spent three years at the family county courts, gaining extensive knowledge of the family court and system. She moved onto working within a solicitors firm for the past year, gathering new skills from criminal and court of protection cases.

Jennifer has competed in various advocacy competitions and events. She is a member of the Local Family Justice Board and did a speech at the 2025 Newcastle conference.

Other than the Bar, Jennifer is an avid reader and animal lover, is either with her golden retriever or cats at any moment of free time.
