R -v- Weaver and others.  A row at a family funeral led to a young father being fatally stabbed by a cousin. The defendant maintained he didn’t know that his best friend had taken a knife with him.  After a three week jury trial alongside his co-accused,  he was acquitted of all charges, murder, manslaughter and wounding with intent. Three of his co-accused were convicted of charges of Murder and Manslaughter.  Media coverage can be found here
