Paul Wilkinson (1965-2021)

Chambers was saddened to learn of that our friend and colleague Paul Wilkinson has died. He had been ill for some time and passed away peacefully in hospital last Saturday morning. He was 56.
Paul worked as a chartered quantity surveyor in the construction industry before he was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 2001. He was a loyal member of Chambers and a valued member of our civil team; he specialised in property related advice and litigation.
Sadly, in recent times Paul struggled with illness. He will be remembered not only for his work but his conviviality, long lunches with his good friends Chris Mitford and Robin Horner and, of course, for his skills as a guitarist in bands such as Single Black Olive – appreciated by frequenters of music venues in Newcastle and Gateshead.
