Father sentenced to 4 years and 3 months imprisonment.

    Prosecuted by Anne Richardson, a father has been sentenced to four years and three months imprisonment having pleaded guilty to unlawfully inflicting grievous bodily harm and cruelty on his young son.  His partner admitted cruelty to a person aged under 16. Local respected football coach Ian Brown’s reputation ruined.

    Prosecuted by Anne Richardson and defended by Penny Hall, both of Dere Street Barristers, Ian Brown received a sentence of 9 ½ years imprisonment at Newcastle Crown Court for a serious sexual attack on a terrified pensioner. Media coverage of the matter can be found here
