Michael Bosomworth

All members of chambers and staff join in wishing Michael Bosomworth a very happy retirement after over 40 years in practice.

He was called to the Bar in 1979 and for many years successfully managed a mixed practice taking across the jurisdiction, from commercial to family to crime. When he joined us in July 2007, from 39 Park Square, he was a specialist in serious criminal work; his first case with us was for John Nixon at Teesside. 

Mike has been a stalwart member of Circuit and chambers’ criminal team, he is utterly reliable and trusted by solicitors, colleagues and the judiciary. His skill in conducting serious cases with minimum fuss and maximum effect made him popular with the Crown Prosecution Service and many defence solicitors.
