HH Gordon Atkinson

Chambers was saddened to learn of the death of Gordon Atkinson who was formerly a member of 2 Harcourt Buildings and a Circuit Judge based in West Yorkshire.
On Friday 12th August his great friend HH Paul Batty QC said,
“This great warrior died early this afternoon after a short illness in York district Hospital. Gordon was 97 years of age and the last of his generation as a circuit judge to serve an active service in the last war
He will be greatly missed by a wide circle of friends of all generations collected over his long life and spanning his many interests”.
