All members of chambers and staff at Dere Street join in congratulating Harvey Murray on his forthcoming appointment as a Circuit Judge.
Harvey is a highly respected member of our distinguished family team who became a Recorder in 2019. He was born and raised in New Zealand, educated at the Universities of Auckland and Newcastle upon Tyne, and called to the Bar in 2004. Harvey is the fourth member of our family team to be appointed to the Circuit Bench in the past 6 years.
HHJ Murray will be appointed to the Family Court at Teesside with effect from 5th September 2022.
