Fine Art presentation Awards 18th May 2018

After a competitive selection process a panel of staff and barristers from Dere Street Barristers awarded the commissions to provide works of art for the Chambers’ new arbitration, mediation and conferencing suite in its historic buildings at Broad Chare, on the Quayside at Newcastle.
The artists have been given the opportunity to help launch their careers by addressing the brief of ‘The Spirit of the Tyne’. The work they have created will provide an inspiring backdrop for the forward looking, imaginative, alternative dispute resolution of legal cases that the Chambers hope to provide in their new suite of rooms.
The works are soon to be hung in the Barristers’ Chambers and there is to be a presentation reception at Dere Street Barristers, 33 Broad Chare, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 3DQ on 18th May 2018 at 7.30pm, with the works of art as the centrepiece of the occasion.
