Carly Henley

All members of chambers and staff warmly congratulate Carly Henley on the news of her forthcoming appointment to the Circuit Bench.
Carly has been an outstanding member of the Dere Street family team, appearing in many high profile cases in the High Court and Court of Appeal. She has also served as Assistant Coroner for North and South Northumberland, North Tyneside and Newcastle and, in 2016, was appointed as a Recorder. In 2019 Carly was made a Deputy High Court Judge, authorised to try some of the most serious cases in the Family Court.
HHJ Henley will be appointed to the Family Court at Newcastle upon Tyne with effect from 18th July.
