Calum McNicholas appeals restraining order in the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division).

Following sentence at Teesside Crown Court, Calum represented the Appellant at the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division). The restraining order restricted contact between the Appellant and his daughter. The duration of the Restraining Order was reduced from 10 years to 5 years. 

Calum has been described by the Court of Appeal as a “conspicuously able and focused” advocate. He has quickly established a busy Crown Court practice. He has been instructed in multiple jury trials, including burglary, knife-point robbery, and section 18. Calum has acted in a range of serious and complex criminal work, including large multi-handed drugs conspiracies, arson, and grievous bodily harm with intent.
