A man who made false rape claims against six men has been jailed for eight years.

Anne Richardson recently secured the conviction of Liam Smith who made false rape allegations against 6 gay men. Smith has now been sentenced and jailed for 8 years for acts tending or intending to pervert the course of justice. Full media coverage of the matter can be found here and here.
