LimbBo Adventure Day 2026

Dere Street Barristers were once again proud to support The LimbBo Foundation at its recent Adventure Day, which was held at Cawthorne Cricket Club in Barnsley.

The LimbBo Foundation is a charity currently supported by the Dere Street Charitable Trust. Many members of chambers donate a percentage of their income to the Trust, which in turn distributes funds to a number of carefully selected charities each year.

The LimbBo Foundation provides vital support to children with limb differences and their families. Each year, the charity hosts an Adventure Day, bringing families together to enjoy sports and a wide range of recreational activities in a fun and inclusive environment.

For many children, the day provides their first opportunity to meet others with limb differences, helping them realise they are not alone and fostering a strong sense of community and belonging. The charity continues to grow from strength to strength, with this year’s Adventure Day attracting more than 800 attendees. Importantly, The LimbBo Foundation prides itself on ensuring that these events remain free of charge, allowing everyone to take part regardless of circumstances.

Our Civil Clerk, Marcus Atkinson, was delighted to attend the event alongside his son, Theo, and other family members, experiencing first-hand the continued growth and impact of this remarkable charity.
