Ralph is a highly experienced lawyer and advocate who spent 20 years as a solicitor before transferring to the Bar.

Ralph has a strong family practice covering all aspects of Children Act matters and financial disputes.
Ralph has conducted many final and fact findings hearings were there are significant disputes. Ranging from coercive and controlling behaviour to a range a physical and sexual abuse. Cases include;
In addition, Ralph is experienced in ancillary relief matters successfully negotiating FDR’s and conducting final hearings where there are disputes around pensions and housing.

Ralph has been involved in costs advocacy and technical costs disputes for over 20 years. This includes cases of considerable complexity, many of which could only be heard in the Senior Courts Cost Office over a period of days.
This experience is invaluable when it comes to Ralph dealing with CCMC’s and ongoing technical costs disputes which require a level of expertise beyond any numerical exercise.

Notable Cases
T v N (2025)
Represented a mother at a three day fact finding hearing. The fathers contact with the children was suspended following judgement with an application for costs to be considered at a later date.
G v A (2024)
Represented a father in protracted proceedings which resulted in a change of residence in his favour.
K v T (2024
Represented a father in a fact finding hearing in relation to physical and sexual abuse. Most allegations found unproven.
S v N (2023)
Represented a mother in protracted proceedings including allegations of physical and sexual abuse. The father finally withdrew and will not see his child again.
