LimbBo Adventure Day 2025

Dere Street Barristers were once again proud to the support The LimbBo Foundation at the recent Adventure Day which took place at the Cawthorne Cricket Club. The LimbBo Foundation are a charity who are currently sponsored by the Dere Street Charitable Trust. Many members donate a percentage of their income to the trust who in turn distribute the funds around a number of chosen charities selected each year.

The LimbBo foundation provide support for children with limb differences and their families and each year an adventure day is held for families to come together and have fun taking part in sports and many other recreational activities. For some children, this day can be the first opportunity they have to meet someone who may also have a limb difference which helps them to feel they are not alone. The charity continues to grow, and the adventure day was attended by over 800 people. LimbBo pride themselves on not charging for these events as they want all to be able to be included.

Our Civil Clerk, Marcus Atkinson, attended this event along with his son Theo and family. Here are a few pictures of them enjoying the day including a picture of Theo, Marcus and Rachel with “Tommy” the LimbBo mascot.
