Supreme Court hearing on adverse possession for Sam Healy.

Permission has now been granted for an appeal to the Supreme Court in Brown v. Ridley & Anr. [2024] UKUT 14. Sam acted for Mr & Mrs Ridley in the First Tier Tribunal and is now being led by Simon Goldberg KC of Trinity Chambers. It will be the first time that the Supreme Court has the opportunity to resolve some longstanding confusion over the requirements for adverse possession found within the Land Registration Act 2002. The hearing is likely to be in 2025.
